Please Support the Mural Campaigns of Mon Sheong Long-Term Care Centres to Enhance the Well-Being of our Residents!

We are running Mural Campaigns in all our three homes: Mon Sheong Home for the Aged, Mon Sheong Scarborough Long-Term Care Centre and Mon Sheong Richmond Hill Long-Term Care Centre.
Our target is to raise $700,000 for each of our three Homes, as some of the expenditure items are not covered by government funding. The funds raised through Mural Campaigns will be used to support building maintenance and new programs of respective Homes.
We urge each and every one in the community, as well as the business community, to participate in our Mural Campaigns to make a difference to the lives of our residents.
The Mural Campaign was first introduced in the Mon Sheong Home for the Aged in 2009 as part of its Renovation Project, and succeeded in raising funds to renovate and refurbish the Home which has been in operation since 1975. Afterwards, similar campaigns have been extended to Scarborough and Richmond Hill Long-Term Care Centres since 2011 and 2012 respectively.
A copy of the mural “Presenting Peaches of Longevity” featuring Mon Sheong’s mission of “Caring for the Elderly and Nurturing the Young” is displayed prominently in the lobby of respective Homes, with a Recognition Legend on its right-hand-side. Names of Mural Campaign supporters are shown in the Recognition Legend of respective Homes as a token of appreciation. Each Legend is made up of 288 squares (3”x3”). The squares in the middle tier of 4 rows are at $5,000 each; the second tiers of 3 rows above and below at $3,000 each; the third tiers of 3 rows above and below at $2,000 each; and the uppermost and the lowest 4 rows at $1,000 each.
