TORONTO, September 5, 2012 - Mon Sheong Foundation Charity Raffle sale has been kicked off. This year, raffle tickets are available at $10 each, with fabulous prizes totalling over $20,000 and a sedan donated by Kingscross Hyundai as the Grand Prize. Winning tickets will be drawn at Cathay Ball on November 3, 2012 and results will be announced in Toronto Star and major Chinese newspapers. All funds raised through the Charity Raffle will be used to support long-term care centres and other services of Mon Sheong Foundation.
Ticket booths will be set up in various Chinese shopping malls in September and October on the following dates: September 9 and October 28 at Dragon City Mall; September 15 at Market Village; September 22 and October 20 at New Kennedy Square; September 29 and October 14 at Chartwell Shopping Centre. Tickets are also available at Mon Sheong Foundation Long-Term Care Centres in downtown Toronto, Scarborough and Richmond Hill, Mon Sheong Community & Volunteer Services Centres in Scarborough and downtown Toronto, as well as Scarborough Mon Sheong Court. Mon Sheong Foundation invites all to support its annual charity raffle sale, which will help raise funds to benefit the elderly and those in need in the community.
The prizes for Charity Raffle 2012 include: Grand Prize – a 2013 Hyundai Accent L4 Sedan (valued at $16,208) donated by Kingscross Hyundai, Second Prize - a Diamond watch (valued at $3,497), donated by Pierre Laurent, Third Prize – one Air Canada Economy Class Return Ticket between Toronto and Seoul & Hotel Certificate (valued at $2,400) donated by Tour East Holidays, and Fourth Prize - 60” LG Plasma HDTV (valued at $1,356) donated by Canada Computers.
