The Mon Sheong Foundation was established as Ontario's first Chinese Canadian charitable organization. In 1989, to commemorate its 25th anniversary, the Foundation established the Silver Jubilee Awards of Excellence. The Awards are presented annually to Ontario secondary school graduates who meet eligibility requirements and demonstrate outstanding achievement in several domains which reflect well-roundedness and strength of personal character. Applications are reviewed by the Awards Committee. Award recipients will be invited to attend 2013 Silver Jubilee Awards of Excellence Award Presentation in mid of August 2013.
