Mon Sheong Foundation awards 10 students each year since 1989 as part of its Silver Jubilee Anniversary celebration. The awards are presented to graduates of Ontario secondary schools in the Toronto area and the York, Peel, Durham and Halton regions.
The principals of secondary schools in these areas submit nominations. The Awards Committee uses the following criteria in selecting recipients: academic achievement, voluntary community involvement, personal character, leadership, sportsmanship, and other commendable traits and talents.
