Position summary
The Marketing & Events Officer is responsible for conducting a wide variety of duties in support of Marketing and Events management work.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Manager, Communications and Marketing on copywriting and design of marketing materials such as pamphlets, articles, publications, and digital posts, etc.
- Responsible for digital content creation, including but not limited to creating storylines, scripting and editing, for web and social media
- Assist the Communications and Marketing Manager to prepare and execute media plans
- Marketing intelligence collection and compilation, including but not limited to printed media, TV, radio, web and social media
- Provide assistance and support to the overall planning, coordination and execution of fundraising and marketing events of the Foundation
- Responsible in set-up, arrange event elements and logistics, guest list, production and follow-up work of events
- Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- At least 4 years work experience in communications, marketing or advertising
- Experience in event management is essential
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Chinese, in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Good attention in details
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal and communication skills
- A valid Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle
