COVID-19 continues to spread globally and the number of confirmed cases continues to increase. Unfortunately, the situation has not stabilized. Although Canadian health officials have reassured the public that the risk of infection in Canada is low, in light of seniors’ vulnerable immune systems, Mon Sheong Foundation strives to minimize seniors’ risk of infection. Hence, we have decided to halt Mon Sheong Golden Seniors Celebration for 2020.
The annual Mon Sheong Golden Seniors Celebration has been welcomed by many in the community. Over 800 people attend every year, becoming a way for the next generation to show their love and respect for the seniors in their lives.
Mon Sheong Foundation hopes that the COVID-19 situation will improve soon and wishes everyone good health. We look forward to seeing each other at next year’s Mon Sheong Golden Seniors Celebration.
