July 16, 2016—“We are not only here to celebrate a milestone of this building, but also what it means for our seniors here in the City of Markham.” What a way to sum up today’s momentous topping off ceremony for our upcoming Mon Sheong Care Complex.

Our newest facilities will be situated on Sun Yat-Sen Avenue, named after who many consider to be the founding father of the Republic of China. As we seek to promote Chinese culture and heritage, the naming of this street is very meaningful both to us and the Chinese community at large within the Greater Toronto Area.

The Markham Mon Sheong Court is our first major project in Markham and will feature one of the tallest buildings in the city, providing a recognizable landmark for everyone in the area. The first phase, scheduled for completion in stages beginning this August, will provide 460 senior apartment units tailored to active, retired individuals. Amenities are all carefully designed with our residents’ convenience and enjoyment in mind.

The Markham Mon Sheong Care Complex, the second phase of the Markham project, will comprise of additional senior apartment units, approximately 200 assisted living units, and 50 private care and charity care units. Its completion is expected for fall 2017.
