Mon Sheong Private Care is committed to providing seniors with premium care, treating them with dignity and allowing them to enjoy a gracious lifestyle.

We provide 142 care beds in a state-of-the-art facility, available for both short-term stays and longer-term accommodation. Regular amenities include ninety minutes of individually-tailored professional care services each day, nutritious meals and snacks, and 24-hour security and nursing personnel on duty.

Because Private Care is not funded by the government, applicants only have to undergo our health assessment to qualify for admission. Staying at Private Care will not affect the status of any LHIN applications or waiting lists.

What We Provide

Healthcare: Around-the-clock care and a team of doctors to look after the residents, with up to 90 minutes of professional care services provided each day (tailored to individual needs):

24-hour registered nursing personnel on duty
Regular health monitoring and checkups
Care for incontinence
Personal hygiene assistance
Physician on call
Feeding assistance
Administration of medication
Bathing assistance
Dressing assistance
Ambulation and toileting assistance

Medication Services: Regular meetings with residents and their families to discuss their medication and drug needs

Dietary Services: Three nutritious Chinese meals and two snacks daily, special arrangements may be made for birthdays, weddings, and other occasions

Recreational Activities: A wide range of fitness exercises, recreational classes, and leisure activities to enrich the lives of the seniors

Housekeeping Services: Housekeeping and maintenance services seven days a week; weekly laundry services

Accommodations

Richmond Hill Mon Sheong Private Care features 92 furnished Private Care suites, and Markham Mon Sheong Private Care features 50 units, each containing an emergency call response system. The life lease units are fully backed by Mon Sheong’s Guaranteed Buyback program and are available for immediate occupancy. Health permitting, double occupancy suites can be shared by couples for added convenience. Residents can also arrange for a family member or caregiver to stay overnight.
