Monthly Board Game Social
We are excited to announce the launch of our Monthly Board Game Social, a gathering dedicated to the enjoyment of board games and meeting new frends.
Time: 2p.m. – 6p.m.
Location: Scarborough Community & Volunteer Services Centre (2020 McNicoll Ave.)
Age Group: 16-30 years old
Free entry and walk-ins welcome! Simply join us on the day and immerse yourself in hours of fun. As a token of our appreciation for your participation, complimentary snacks will be provided to keep your energy levels up while you engage in gameplay and connect with new friends.

Youth Empowerment Leadership Program 2024 – Open for Applications!
Join the Mon Sheong Youth Empowerment Leadership Program and embark on an inspiring 7-month journey of personal growth and community impact. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and hands-on event management, you’ll acquire a comprehensive set of leadership and event management skills. Take part in organizing the Lunar New Year market, where you can showcase your creativity and contribute to the Chinese community. Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself!
What you’ll gain:
- Learn leadership and event management skills
- Receive mentorship from experienced youth leaders
- Hands-on experience in organizing events with like-minded peers
- Free first-aid training
- Certificate upon completion
Quota: 20 youth ages 16 – 30, youth under 14 – 15 years old could be given exception with successful interview performance
Program Launch and Info Session:
- Date: Saturday, June 22, 2024
- Time: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
- Location: Scarborough Mon Sheong Community & Volunteer Services Centre (2020 McNicoll Ave., Scarborough)
By participating in this program, other than attending the above sessions, participants are also expected to meet regularly with other participants to prepare for the organization of the Lunar New Year Market (final project of this program).
We will prioritize applicants who can attend most of the sessions. After application, all applicants will be invited to attend a virtual screening/interview session
