Amid growing demand for long-term care services, we have been actively building new facilities to meet the needs of our local senior community.
In October 2025, Mon Sheong proudly celebrated the opening of our fifth long-term care home—the Dr. Paul Woo Long-Term Care Centre in Stouffville—following rigorous provincial and municipal inspections. This milestone brings our total to five long-term care centres, providing a total of 1,001 care beds and establishing Mon Sheong as the largest non-profit long-term care operator in Ontario.
Our growth continues. Two additional long-term care centres are currently under construction and advancing steadily. The Markham Long-Term Care Centre, located at the intersection of Woodbine Avenue and Apple Creek Boulevard, will provide 320 care beds upon completion. Our second long-term care home in Richmond Hill, a 10-storey facility, has been designed with a strong focus on resident-centered care to accommodate the diverse needs of future residents.
None of this would be possible without the generous and ongoing support of our community. Your contribution is essential in helping us expand high-quality senior care and build a compassionate future for generations to come.
