Cathay Ball 2026 will take place on Saturday, October 31 at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa. The annual charity gala is expected to welcome 700 guests in support of Mon Sheong Foundation’s longstanding mission of Caring for the Elderly and Nurturing the Young. This year, the gala celebrates the Foundation’s journey to care under the theme “Anchored in Care, Charting Tomorrow”. All net proceeds from Cathay Ball will fund the “Because We Care” Capital Campaign to help build more long-term care centres and increase access to quality senior care.

We are building on that momentum to bring even more new care homes into operation. Construction of our 320-bed Markham Long-Term Care Centre is expected to be completed later this year. Our second facility in Richmond Hill is scheduled for completion by the end of next year, adding another 288 care beds to serve our community.
